Our last Kitchen Garden session for the term! Students learnt about weeds and how to recognise weeds out in the garden. They helped out in the garden, pulling out weeds and cleaning the area ready for the holidays!

Today we had our end of term Liturgy and Star/Gold Awards Ceremony. In this liturgy, we remembered Anzac Day and we gave thanks for Mrs Piccirilli who is retiring from our school. In this season of Easter we rejoice in the New Life the Risen Jesus gives us, offering hope, peace and purpose. Today, as we remembered the ANZAC soldiers who fought to protect our country, help us to be instruments of your peace in all we say and do. πβοΈ

Year 6 students experience Encounter with faith
In mid-March, Year 6 students from 58 primary schools across the Diocese of Parramatta gathered in Penrith to participate in a new formation experience developed by the Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese Mission Team called Encounter.

Year 5 were extremely lucky to visit Mr Bekic carving Our Lady of Fatima today. The progress that has been made in 3 weeks was simply amazing. Students had the opportunity to ask many insightful questions about the process.

Year 6 retreat day was truly unforgettable! The theme was Human Dignity. Students had the opportunity to express their faith through spiritual reflection, art, group prayer and the Examin.

On Friday Year 6 participated in Encounter. They enjoyed engaging in high energy Praise and Worship, communicating with students from other schools in their local area, widening their spiritual awareness and experiencing Eucharistic Adoration. On top of that, they even had the honour of meeting Gen Bryant!
