Join CSPD’s Learning Outcomes team for a practical parent session focused on simple, realistic ways families can support learning at home, from primary through to secondary school.
You’ll hear practical ideas around:
- study and homework routines
- helping children retain information
- reading and learning habits
- understanding some of the teaching approaches used in today’s CSPD classrooms
We’ll also briefly unpack the “why” behind some of the changes happening in schools and explain how parents and schools can work together to support student success.
Whether your child is in primary or secondary school, this session will provide practical takeaways you can start using at home straight away.

Last Tuesday, our school Mission team came together with young people from the Parramatta diocese at Lifted Jnr for a wonderful day of worship, prayer and sharing. Inspired by the message of Pentecost, they explored who they are and how the Holy Spirit is at work in their daily lives. Through music and discussion, students connected with Jesus in a real and joyful way. They are eager to share what they experienced and are offering a weekly prayer group to students every Tuesday at lunchtime.

Today we were blessed to celebrate our Mother’s Day Liturgy led beautifully by our Kindergarten students. Thank you to all of our mothers, grandmothers and special mother figures who joined us today. Your love, care and guidance reflect God’s love in such a special way. 💕 Thank you also for attending our morning tea and visiting our open classrooms. It was wonderful to share this special time together as a school community. As we celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend, we pray that God blesses all mothers with love, joy and peace. May Our Lady continue to guide and watch over all families. Wishing all of our mums a wonderful and blessed Mother’s Day on Sunday. 💐

Today our school community gathered for a meaningful ANZAC Day Liturgy. ✝️ We honoured the soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who landed at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915. We remembered the more than 8,000 Australians and over 2,500 New Zealanders who gave their lives, and we reflected on their courage, sacrifice, and perseverance in the face of great hardship. ANZAC Day reminds us not only of the past, but of our call today—to be people of peace. Peace in our world, in our communities, in our families, and in our own hearts. Lest we forget. 🌺

On Thursday our school community gathered in prayer and reflection for our Holy Week Liturgy, where our students led us through the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through heartfelt readings and songs our students beautifully reflected on the love and sacrifice of Jesus, and the joy and hope that His resurrection brings to each of us. Thank you to our teachers and parents/family members for walking this Easter journey with us. May the light and love of the risen Christ remain in our hearts long after this holy season. On Thursday our students and staff walked together in solidarity with the millions of people around the world who travel long distances every day just to collect water. Buckets in hand, our students got a real sense of what that journey feels like. Throughout the walk, students paused at reflection stations to think about how they can Unite Against Poverty as part of Caritas Australia's Project Compassion this Lent. We are so proud of the empathy, compassion, and community spirit shown by every single one of them. 700+ Unite for Project Compassion Big Water Walk
More than 700 students and staff from 23 schools across Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) came together for Caritas Australia’s Big Water Walk in support of Project Compassion. Beginning at Parramatta Park, students carried buckets of water along a 4km route, gaining a glimpse of the daily journey faced by people in developing communities, especially women and children, in search of clean water.
